Janet's Personal Background

Educated in England and Indiana, Janet is originally from London and has traveled extensively. This has given her a unique perspective to work with buyers and sellers with diverse backgrounds from many different countries. Her son attended Menlo School and Cambridge University. He is currently living with his family in Australia. Janet is an active member of the Peninsula Volunteers and previously the Atherton Dames before it was disbanded.  She supports numerous charities, particularly the Society for the Protection of Animals. Her background is in Business Consulting and Education. Her Masters degrees, summa cum laude, were attained at Indiana University. She constantly maintains an intimate knowledge of the local real estate market for maximum efficiency and results.

John’s Personal Background

Janet teamed with her brother John Spiller in 1995. Before becoming a real estate broker, John was an executive in the high-tech industry. Initially a radio engineer with a British telecommunications company he emigrated to the USA in 1980 and progressed throughout his career to engineering management, business development and Vice President of International Sales. He attained his Bachelor of Arts in England and studied at Santa Clara University for his Master of Engineering Management.  Married with two grown up children and two grandsons, he is an active participant in his Palo Alto neighborhood committee with an emphasis on emergency preparedness.
